End of a Four-Year Journey

Star Talk Arrives

Good Job

A Happy Writer

Writer Happy to Pass It On

Not exactly breaking news since it happened last week, but no other newspaper is covering the story, so it’s news here at The Westphalia News. Big news!

The news is: “STAR TALK, The Trilogy” has arrived from the giant Mixom printing plant somewhere in the industrial Midwest. The books arrived in good shape in six cardboard boxes, securely wrapped, each book over 500 pages long. It was the end of a journey the author began four years ago after she retired after many years teaching language at universities. The final delivery was made by a friendly UPS guy who smiled and was in a hurry.

The author of the book, Culley Jane Carson, was present and acted pleased and excited.

The Westphalia staff is currently hustling to fill pre-publication orders.

In an interview this week with The Westphalia News during a walk in the park, the author said a couple of the readers who pre-ordered the book told her they were going to pass it on to their children and grandchildren.

She said that’s what makes her really happy.
